St. Joseph's Community College welcomed the 2019-20 batch on 19th July 2019 through the inaugural ceremony which was held at the St Joseph’s Indian Institutions Auditorium. The Chief guest of the day Rev. Fr. Dr. Xavier Alphonse SJ, Director of ICRDCE (Founder of Community Colleges in India) .Rev. Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, Rector of SJII, the President of the Program,the Principal and Director Rev. Fr Deepak JK were the honourable dignitaries on the dais . The programme started with the prayer followed by an invocation dance and the lighting of the lamp.
On this day, The Principal delivered a speech which contained the words of encouragement. The students and parents were then briefed on the history of the Community College through a video. Later, staff members were introduced to parents and students.The Rector also addressed the students and parents.He motivated them with a resounding message. The Director briefed about the rules and regulations of the college for the new students and parents.
