The 6 day training of the teachers held by ICRDCE for the community college teachers was between the 8th of July to the 13th July 2019.
The session was mainly focused on how the community colleges were formed and the concept involved and what kind of students are served in India. The visit to Swami Vivekananda Rural Community College and Dr Chandran Devanesen Rural Community College gave an insight about the industrial partnership and the student upliftment and their family upliftment from poverty.
The teaching methodology and life skill which has more importance in the community college syllabus along with other skill classes was stressed upon by the director of ICRDCE and other resource persons throughout the sessions.
